Breville the Distribution Duo

Using a WDT tool and leveling your puck before tamping will result in more consistent extractions with less channellingthat means youll brew better-tasting espresso. The Breville Distribution Duo gives you both of these handy tools in one stylish accessory.

First, unscrew the walnut cap on the Distribution Duos handle and remove the eight-pin WDT tool. The pins can be maneuvered into two different configurations, angled or straight, depending on your preference. After dosing into your portafilter, use the WDT tool to break up clumps in your grounds.

Then, screw the cap back in place and set the leveler on top of your dosed portafilter. Give it a few, gentle turns, and the tri-blade leveler ensures you have a perfectly level tamping surface. The height of the leveler is adjustable, so it can be used with any dose and any size filter basket.
