Featuring an introduction to Assyrian cuisine, rooted in the ancient Middle East, this class will take you on a flavorful journey through cherished family recipes and ancient culinary traditions. Youll start with a refreshing appetizer ofjajika cool yogurt and cucumber dipserved with soft lawasha bread, crisp radishes, and cucumber slices. Then, for the main course, youll roll up your sleeves to prepare savory, hand-rolleddolmas with creamymestaand paprika butter to enjoy with fragrant Assyrian baked rice and a bright, herb-packedfattoushsalad. To finish, youll enjoy a special treat prepared by the chef, delicatekleichapastries and black teaserved with traditional sugar cubes, the perfect ending to a heartfelt, home-cooked Assyrian meal.
