This limited edition carving set from Blenheim Forge is nothing short of breathtaking. Delivered in a custom leather case, both carving knife and fork are forged by hand from homemade carbon damascus steel. Both tools feature matching integral construction, the damascus’ striking pattern flowing from tips of tines and blade to handles where it meets 5000-year-old bog oak, found at a farm in East Anglia where it rose to the surface not long ago, to complete the elegant handles. The damascus itself was created by repeatedly folding two alloys of high-carbon Swedish steel, resulting in over 120 layers in the finished objects. From leather worker Harry Owen, a black leather saya for both fork and knife is included in addition to the carry case. With every angle, curve, and transition thoughtfully designed, this carving set will serve meals for generations to come.
