The numbers on the scale of the central screw (12 – 16 – 20 etc.) do not represent a reliable or precise indication in kilograms, but are merely intended to make previous or current settings easier to remember. The precise fine calibration of the release mechanism should be carried out by repeated trial and error until the individually desired or ideal force setting is found.
